Colonial Craft Day Sept 24, 2017
Colonial Craft day is an annual event at the Garrison House. It is a family event and one of our most popular events, with something of interest for everyone. Visitors can look forward to demonstrations of blacksmithing, chair caning, food preservation, spinning, butter churning, candle dipping, soap making, quilting, weaving, woodworking, basket weaving, and silver smithing.
Of course, you can also view the exhibits in the house and barn. This is an excellent event for the whole family.
The hours are from 2-5 pm. Admission is free but donations are welcome.
If you are skilled in some craft and would like to demonstrate for the public, call (978)256-8832, or email to make the necessary arrangements.
